Privacy policy

Big Tee Shirt Co. is a clothing manufacturer in Pattaya, Thailand. This page explains what personal information we collect through bigteeshirtco.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to be read, not to be skipped.

What we collect

Only what you type into this site, and only where you choose to.

When you ask for a quote. Your name, your email address, the quantity you are after, whatever you write in the message box, and any artwork file you attach.
When you subscribe to our emails. Your email address, and nothing else.
When you place an order. Your name, email address, delivery address and what you ordered. Card and PromptPay details are handled entirely by a licensed payment provider — they never reach this site and we never see your full card number.

We do not run advertising pixels, and we do not buy information about you from anyone else. Nobody is following you around the internet on our behalf.

We count visits with Google Analytics. When you first arrive we ask whether we may use cookies for it. This is what changes depending on your answer:

If you say yes. Google sets cookies on your device so it can tell a returning visit from a new one. We see which pages were read, roughly where in the world you were, and whether you were on a phone.
If you say no. No cookies are set, nothing is stored on your device, and you are never identified — but Google still receives an anonymous record that a page was viewed. We can count how many people read a page; we cannot tell anything about who they were, or link one visit to another.

We use it to work out which pages are worth keeping. You can change your mind by clearing this site's data in your browser, which forgets your answer and makes us ask again.

Cookies and your browser

There are no advertising cookies, and we do not advertise. Analytics cookies are set by Google only if you agree to them, and never before you answer — until then, and permanently if you decline, Google is told not to store anything on your device.

If you add something to a basket it is stored in your own browser and never sent to us until you check out — clearing your browser data deletes it. Your answer to the cookie question is stored the same way. The only cookie we set ourselves is the one that keeps our own staff logged into the admin area, which does not apply to customers.

What we do with it

Answer your enquiry and prepare a quote.
Make, print and deliver what you ordered.
Send you the emails you asked to receive.
Keep the records a business has to keep, such as invoices.
See which pages people actually read.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

Who else handles it

Running a website means a handful of suppliers touch the data on our behalf. They may only use it to provide their service to us:

Vercel — hosts the website.
Supabase — stores the database and your uploaded artwork.
Backblaze — stores our off-site backups: the database, and our own product photography. Artwork you upload is not copied into them.
Resend — delivers our email.
Google — counts visits. With cookies if you agreed to them, anonymously if you did not. Google is in the United States and may process what it collects there.
A payment provider — takes the payment when you buy something, and holds the card details we never see.

Some of these run their servers outside Thailand, so your information may be processed abroad. We may also have to hand information to the authorities where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Quote enquiries arrive as an email and stay in our mailbox, the same as any other customer correspondence.
Artwork you upload is kept in private storage so we can use it on your job. The download links we email ourselves stop working after 30 days.
A gang sheet you start but do not order is deleted 7 days after you last work on it. Come back to it before then with your code and the clock starts again.
A gang sheet you do order, and any print-ready file you send us, is kept for 90 days after the order so you can reorder it without sending anything again. Ordering it again, or reopening it, starts that 90 days over. After that the file is deleted, though the order itself stays in our records.
If you subscribe to our emails, we keep your address until you ask us to stop.
Order and payment records are kept as long as Thai tax and accounting rules require.
We keep off-site backups so that a failure cannot lose your order. Those backups hold the database and our own product photography, and each database backup is deleted automatically after 15 days. Artwork you upload is deliberately left out of them, so the timetable above is the whole story for your files.

Your artwork is never published anywhere. It is not served from a public address, and nobody reaches it without a link that we generate and that expires.

Your rights

Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, or stop using it. You can withdraw your consent to marketing emails at any time. Ask by emailing sales@bigteeshirtco.com and we will deal with it.

If you think we have handled your information badly, please tell us first — we would rather fix it. You also have the right to complain to Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee.

Children

This site is meant for adults doing business with us. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If what we do with your information changes, we will change this page and update the date at the top.
